OLLU repeats as RRAC men's cross country champion, TAMUT's Shea Johnson takes first

WINDCREST, Texas – In the 2024 RRAC Men's Cross Country Championships, Our Lady of the Lake captured its second straight team title, and Texas A&M-Texarkana landed the individual title for the third straight year. While they didn't get the top finisher, the Saints accounted for eight of the top 10 runners to eclipse runner-up TAMUT at Windcrest Golf Club.

2024 RRAC Men's Cross Country Championships Results

TAMUT's Shea Johnson followed up a fifth-place result in 2023 with the individual title, posting a time of 26:01.0 in the 8K distance. He follows Eagles Charles Dorsett III (2023) and Vincent Nchogu (2022) as RRAC champs.

OLLU's Joseph Gonzalez finished as runner-up, 18 seconds behind Johnson, and TAMUT's Isaac Cupp earned the bronze in third place.

Joining the top three as all-conference recipients were OLLU's Sebastian Moreno (4th), Isai Moran (5th), Jayden Turrubiates (6th), Jose Saucedo (7th), Kruz Malesich (8th), Tony Favella (9th), and Vincent Garza (10th).

OLLU has now won nine of the last 10 RRAC titles, and TAMUT has been the runner-up in the last two years after winning the 2022 championship. Southwest placed third this time around followed by Xavier and Jarvis Christian.
