Xavier scheduled to compete at NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship
WACO, Texas (May 13, 2026) - Xavier University of Louisiana is the only Red River Athletic Conference team to qualify for the 74th Annual UTR Sports NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship, held May 13-16 at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala. (the 2020 event was canceled due to COVID-19).
The Gold Rush, a season-long top-25 team in both the ITA and NAIA polls with a strong record against ranked opponents, has been selected for an at-large bid.
The No. 6 team in the nation received a first-round bye and will play its first match in Round Two today against No. 11 Morningside (Iowa) at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala.
Xavier, led by Alan Green, is 15-7.
