Vega hit .333 (4-for-12) with two doubles, one home run, and nine RBIs, including a .364 average and .818 slugging percentage in conference play. He drove in four runs in the series opener and added four more in the finale, highlighted by a home run. With three extra-base hits and nine RBIs in three conference games, Vega was a key force in the Pilots' lineup and a major contributor to their undefeated week.
