Junior infielder Garrett Smith delivered in the clutch for TAMUV en route to a historic sweep of LSU Shreveport – the NAIA Baseball Coaches Top 25 No. 1 team. He followed that on Saturday in game two of the series with a three-RBI performance with his two-run single in the third. He put the Jaguars up 3-2 at the time before delivering a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh to give TAMUV a 4-3 win.
