TAMUSA's Sanderlin and LCU's Leblanc earn final RRAC Women's Hoops Players of the Week awards
WACO, Texas (Feb. 23, 2026) – Following stellar performances in the RRAC last week, Texas A&M-San Antonio's Kierra Sanderlin was recognized as Women's Hoops Offensive Player of the Week, while xx was selected as Women's Defensive Hoops Player of the Week for the dates of Feb. 16-22. This is the 16th and final set of awards for the season.
RRAC Offensive Player of the Week – Kierra Sanderlin – Texas A&M-San Antonio
Junior forward Kierra Sanderlin played a huge role in the Jaguars' two big wins against LSU Shreveport and Texas A&M-Texarkana, which secured a second-place RRAC regular-season finish for the second-year program. Sanderlin scored 23 points as the Jaguars defeated the top RRAC team, LSUS, 71-67. She added three assists, four steals, and a block. She marked a double-double in her team's victory over TAMUT 81-79 with 21 points and 10 rebounds. She added an assist and three steals.
Sanderlin is second on her team with 268 points for 11.2 points/game. She has made 97-of-235 field goals, 11-of-33 threes, and 63-of-87 free throws.
TAMUSA ends the regular season with a 17-4 RRAC record. The Jaguars will head into the postseason tournament as the second seed and host seventh-seed Texas College on Feb. 25 at 6 p.m.

RRAC Defensive Player of the Week – Kylei Leblanc – Louisiana Christian
Sophomore forward Kylei Leblanc made 10-of-17 field goals and 6-of-7 free throws for 26 points in her team's 70-58 victory over USW. She added four rebounds, one steal and one block. In the Wildcats' loss to UNTD, Leblanc recorded a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds. She added two assists, six steals, and two blocks.
Leblanc led her team in scoring with 439 points for 16.3 points/game, 243 rebounds, 55 blocks, and 77 steals. This is her third defensive player of the week award, and she has one offensive player of the week honor, as well.
The Wildcats end their season with a 5-23 overall record and 4-18 conference record.

RRAC Notebook:
- LCU sophomore forward Kylei Leblanc scored 26 points in her team's 70-58 victory over Southwest (N.M.), and 20 points in the Mustangs' loss to UNTD 82-65.
- LSUA freshman Sydney Person added 23 points in the Generals' loss to UNTD 74-71 and 17 points in her team's 88-68 victory over USW.
- OLLU senior guard Alexandra Westerdijk Martin scored 24 points in her team's losses to TAMUT 80-70 and LSUS 60-38.
- Junior guard Maiya Petit from TAMUT scored double digits in all three games last week for the Eagles, which averaged out to 14.3 ppg. Petit also added nine rebounds and seven steals.
- NAU junior guard Jerkayla Dickey led her team to three victories last week, scoring 18 points against Paul Quinn (Texas) (72-68), 13 points vs. Jarvis Christian (Texas) (66-53), and 10 points in the Texas College 72-47 win.
- XULA guard Alicia Blanton added 19 points in her team's 54-39 victory over TXC and a win over JCU 71-50.
- UNTD senior guard ShanDrea Yeldell led the Trailblazers to a pair of wins in their final week of the regular season. Yeldell had team-highs in both victories, which included 16 points against LSUA, who were on a four-game winning streak. Yeldell had four assists and five steals in that game. On Saturday against LCU, Yeldell posted 14 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Yeldell leads the RRAC in total assists and ranks second in the RRAC for total steals. Yeldell's effort helped UNTD finish with the most wins in a conference schedule (10), and her season effort has helped the women's basketball program achieve its highest seeding and return to a conference tournament since 2021-22.
- LSUS graduate student Ally Fleenor averaged 19.0 points per game while shooting an efficient 57.1 percent (16-of-28) from the field across 69 total minutes. She opened the week with a 20-point performance on 9-of-17 shooting at TAMUSA, adding 15 rebounds for a powerful double-double. She followed that effort with 18 points in a road win at OLLU, connecting on 7-of-11 shots (63.6 percent) and a perfect 4-of-4 from the free-throw line. For the week, Fleenor also averaged 9.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.5 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game, demonstrating her all-around impact while anchoring the offense.
- LSUA senior guard Princis Goff tallied eight rebounds in each of her team's games, UNTD (71-74) and USW (88-68).
- TAMUT senior guard Breyionce George averaged 12.7 points/game and 6.7 rebounds/game. She also recorded four assists and eight steals.
- NAU senior guard Savannah Velasquez tallied 13 rebounds, 12 assists, and 10 blocks in her team's three victories – PQC (72-68), JCU (66-53), and TXC (72-47).
- XULA guard Tiarra Tillison posted nine rebounds, nine assists, three steals, and one block in her team's victories over TXC (54-39) and JCU (71-50).
- UNTD freshman forward Channing Beauvais delivered a pair of strong defensive games to help UNTD sweep its final home games. Beauvais combined for seven blocked shots, as four came in the win over the LSUA. Beauvais also has the highest number of blocks by an individual this season. Beauvais came down with nine rebounds, including all four on Saturday against LCU as defensive rebounds. She also snatched three steals. Beauvais averaged 10.5 points with a double-digit scoring output that had key shots made down the stretch to give the Trailblazers a three-point victory. UNT Dallas secured the No. 6 Seed with a win and is looking for its first conference postseason berth since 2021-22. It will also be the program's highest seeding.
