LSU Shreveport's Thomas, Marchany recognized with RRAC Men's Soccer All-Conference Release
WACO, Texas – LSU Shreveport is the RRAC regular season champion and currently sits at No. 7 in the NAIA national polls, and that success is reflected in the RRAC's all-conference team and individual awards that were announced today. The Pilots landed four players on the first team while receiving three of the top honors for this season.
2025 RRAC Men's Soccer All-Conference Team
LSUS Midfielder Jack Thomas was named the Athletic Solutions RRAC Offensive Player of the Year after leading the conference in points with 44 points, and he was second in goals scored with 17. Thomas also set a new career assist record for the program with 20.
On the defensive side, the Pilots Defender Caleb Marchany earned the Athletic Solutions RRAC Defensive Player of the Year honor. Marchany led a backline that limited opponents to 0.83 goals per game.
Xavier's Iman Ouedraogo broke up the LSUS party by claiming the RRAC Newcomer of the Year honor. The junior forward was third in conference scoring with 13 goals and third in points with 36.
After guiding LSUS into the top 10, Adam Kay was recognized as the RRAC Coach of the Year. The Pilots are 12-0-5 and are preparing for the conference semifinals with a 12-0-5 record on the season.
In addition to Marchany and Thomas, Jaime Zani and Aksel Battal were first-team selections. Xavier placed three players on the first team including Ouedraogo, Guilherme Domingues and goalkeeper Breno Zanolla.
Two players from LSU Alexandria were on the first team – defender Damian Kunc and midfielder Juan Buitrago. Texas A&M-San Antonio also earned two spots on the first team with the 2024 Offensive Player of the Year Ronald Aguilar and Jose de la Torre. Diego Picano represents Texas A&M-Texarkana on the first team.
Thomas, Marchany, Aguilar and Zanolla are repeat first-team selections.
