WACO, Texas (Oct. 27, 2025)  – The RRAC presents Texas A&M University-Texarkana with all three volleyball awards for the week of Oct. 20-26. Paulina Dobreva is the RRAC Volleyball Attacker of the Week, while Lauren Herz is the RRAC Defender of the Week, and Ashley Rhame is the RRAC Setter of the Week. 

RRAC Attacker of the Week – Paulina Dobreva – Texas A&M University-Texarkana
Senior Dobreva achieves her second consecutive attacker award. She proved to be a force for the Eagles this week, leading the team offensively with 33 kills while generating momentum from the service line with five aces. She also anchored the defense, pacing the team with 37 digs across both matches against Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas). Dobreva leads the conference in kills overall with 333 and kills per set with 3.62. She is second in digs, as well, with 340.

RRAC Setter of the Week – Ashley Rhame – Texas A&M University-Texarkana
Freshman setter Rhame recorded 46 assists in the series split with OLLU. She totals 479 assists on the season, which is second in the conference. In addition, she is third in assists per set with 6.80. This is her second consecutive win and third overall for Rhame.

RRAC Defender of the Week – Lauren Herz – Texas A&M University-Texarkana
Herz wins her second consecutive defender award and third overall. She anchored the Eagles' defense over the weekend as the team split its two matches against OLLU. She posted 38 digs, showcasing her quick reads and consistency in the back row. Herz leads the conference in digs with 376 and is second in digs per set with 4.0 this season.

• XULA outside hitter Kamea Uitenham led all players in the XULA vs. Louisiana Christian University series with 18 kills. She hit .279 with 19 digs, two blocks and four aces to help XULA earn back-to-back three-set road victories. She maintained her conference lead in aces per set with 0.57.
• OLLU right-side hitter Anais Velazquez Figueroa logged 31 kills on 78 total attacks in the series against TAMUT. She totals 148 kills with 2.79 kills per set this season.
• XULA freshman outside hitter Michaela Clayton had a series-high six aces in the two-match sweep at LCU. She logged 21 digs.
• XULA sophomore setter Felise Jones led her team in assists with 28, 4.67 per set against LCU. She has 286 assists, 4.33 per set this season.
• OLLU's Lauren Reynard recorded 95 assists in the series against TAMUT. She also added 18 digs and two service aces. The senior has 486 assists this season, with 9.17 per set – both conference-best. She also leads her team this season in service aces with 25.
