OLLU returns as RRAC men's track & field champions
NEW ORLEANS – Our Lady of the Lake returned as the top team in the 2025 RRAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships. OLLU last won in 2023 then relinquished the title to Xavier last year. With a final edge of 291.5 points to Xavier's 279.5, OLLU's victory played out this time at Tad Gormley Stadium here on Friday and Saturday.

OLLU shined in the distance events again, accounting for the top four finishers in the 1500, 3000 and 5000. The Saints' Isai Moran, Rodolfo Morales, and Robert Rios won those events, respectively. Sebastian Moreno claimed the 10000-meter run title.
OLLU's Jalen Bell performed well in the sprints, taking first in the 200 and second in the 100. The Saints' Malik White won in the 110-meter hurdles, and OLLU claimed titles in the 4x100 and 4x800 relays.
Xavier's Mansur Ali was the High Point Athlete in field competition. He finished in the top three of all of the throwing events, coming out on top in the shot put and finishing second in the discus and hammer throw.
Jaheene Bell of Xavier was the top point individual in the track events. He won titles in both the 400-meter dash and the 400-meter hurdles.
